Where I live Now
Now that I can hop I can go miles from my pond. This is my new habitat and it is much more exciting than pond life.
I have to be on the look out for predators all the time. I often hide in places like these

Where I Will live Next
Winter is coming and it is getting very cold. I need to find somewhere to hibernate. Somewhere underground but really dry so it does not get too cold
This old log pile covered in grass is a lovely place to spend winter

Hibernate means to sleep through the winter. The animal closes down all its systems so as to use almost no energy
When the Spring comes I will go back to my old pond and find a mate! Whoopee!
