Touch/Click the three bar menu to choose a species of Shieldbug for mapping. Once the map is open Touch/Click the 'Species Information' button to see an image of that Shieldbug. Details on idenifcation, ecology, habitats and Sussex conservation status are displayed by touching/clicking the Information button directly below the image of the Shieldbug.
When the species selected is 'All' the 'Species Information' button displays multiple images. Navigate between these using the arrow heads on the right and left of an image.
Map labels:
Red values are total number of records for a grid square.
When 'Species' is 'All':
1. Blue numbers are the total number of species for a grid square;
2. A single click or touch on a grid square lists the species and the number of observations.
3. The number of images in the species information box corresponds to the number of species in the current map extent.
To see these instructions again Touch/Click the Information button in the lower left of the screen, or Click the 'About' option from the menu.
